Happy Holidays to Everyone! I would like to write about our end of year Holiday season a little bit. I don’t think we have forgotten the meaning of our Holidays but why or the reason we create them could be voiced or expressed more.
Our Holidays are generally created for the things we do, can do, and those events we believe are divine or holy. We also celebrate people, particularly birthdays, and mothers and fathers. We should always celebrate what we have and look forward to creating and serving better lives and World for everyone. We work for better ways to serve God so as to come to better understand Him and enjoy more of His Kingdom. Our celebrations are meant for Life and God and the work or service we do for them. I have seen this Holiday season grow like no other that I am aware of over the past years and with little interruption.
While Thanksgiving has sort of primarily become a celebration of family gathering for sharing food and memories in America which is good, I also still think of it very much as a celebration of cultures coming together and sharing in bounties as the Pilgrims and Native Americans did. I believe people share a similar belief in God and wish to share their culturally unique food and traditions. We pray for people who do not have many of the blessings of God, of our World, or Life, and try to find ways to create more prosperity and so they can share in the riches. It too often seems perhaps that our work towards these ends is too little but I believe it is only that the task is still great and any and all good works add up and help immensely. Good begets good to those who are willing and able and increases the work and will towards good and prosperity. I give thanks to all those who actually do the work. I am one who has little, but enough, and can do little and put great faith in everyone.
Christmas has grown and is celebrated by more people in the World than ever before in my opinion. This is a testament, in large part, to America’s work and thus it’s reputation and the meaning of Jesus’ Being and teachings. We should be proud of this and the people of the World who have joined the celebration over the years. This is a natural and/or spiritual phenomenon in my opinion and will only continue. I hope to see more inclusion of our cultures in our celebrations as it brings unity to mind and perhaps a want to learn more. I have seen this in many of the World’s decorations for the Holidays. But, I believe, we should maintain the richness of our own cultures as well.
The end of our calendar year seems a natural time to reflect on our progress towards God’s Kingdom, our Lives, give thanks for it, and plan for the next. It is a renewing and a thanking and a prayer all in one. A time to feast and rest. And we wish good things for everyone. Happy Holidays!
Conservatism and Liberalism: Sustaining Life    November 18, 2020
In my last article, Reasoning: Relating and Serving Humanity and God, I began to define the characteristics of liberals and conservatives. It basically said that a conservative tends to be a warrior of God and ideals while liberals tend to serve God by serving life. It should go without saying that these characteristics of life (lives) serve each other to preserve and sustain life and this has been recorded in our history and continues to manifest itself perhaps more than ever. I will say again that I believe we are at a reckoning point in our evolution and the evolution of God’s Kingdom where these two characteristics must meld and mend differences about the understanding of how God intends us to conduct our lives. One thing is for sure, and that is we will not prosper if we do not agree that everyone is equal under the Laws of God that we have agreed upon and has been revealed by God through prophets. The fact that we serve each other by Divine design regardless of our awareness should indicate that we are more prosperous by including both conservative and liberal ideals in our Laws. As I have written, God’s Kingdom will come, it is ordained, but it will come as you choose, so to speak. I put this under the umbrella of God’s Creation, Life, whereby all Life and Cycles of Life coexist and in fact prosper or come into God’s Kingdom, the Glory of God, only when all are attended or served which is the responsibility of Humanity. It is my opinion, that we are basically conservative with life and the values of God but liberal with life’s expression and it’s care. The elephants and donkeys of our politics becoming the lion and lamb of the Bible, which in my opinion, is divinely inspired and heavily laden with divine intervention.
It is also my opinion that humanity has consistently chosen throughout our history the right path at the right time. I hope this continues. Conservatives should allow more implementation of liberal practices in our society at the government level. Our history clearly shows that it has been prosperous, but we have swayed to and fro, often for lack of money and the need for security. As we round the corner of battle against evil, inequality, and injustice, we should live and care for all life more fully in our society(s). Conservatives should be proud of the work they do and have done for Life along with our Churches but as soldiers do must now allow Life to prosper while keeping vigilant. Conservatives should remain true to their characteristics or Spirit but not allow issues of Law impede the progress of the United States of America and Humanity towards God’s Kingdom.
As I have written, I believe there is in fact an entity of some organization which continues to impede Life and prosperity in the World with conflict (war), misinformation, and disinformation in the name of God while they blanket themselves in our or God’s good works. My general term or name for them is White Supremacists but they are not all white nor Christian. But, I believe their origins began there and in the midst of and surrounding the Life of Jesus Christ given to us by God and the battle over Laws of God and Humanity. They battle for something that can not be attained and sustainably exist on Earth, control by evil, and they destroy the very things that provide for even them and look and sound like fools. But it is a battle Humanity must war for and that is the freedom and ability to live good and prosperous lives which reflects the Spirits and Souls of God more fully in the World where Humanity is, will be, and has been an active participant.
All the while, Liberals have gone to school and managed to become the leaders of our industries and schools while Conservatives have had to bicker and pander or secure our Religion(s) and creed(s) to God. The days and methods of Conservatives writing everything off to the government on their tax forms and requiring society to foot the bill are out dated, often corrupt, and no longer efficiently serve a need. They are coming to a close as more comprehensive and helpful tax laws are (will be) implemented. Conservatives and Churches should embrace this moment or movement as aid to their calling of fighting for and serving the needy at a time when it is needed more than ever as a result of this battle for Control in our society(s) and specifically in our government of America. Increased Poverty is often the result of war and this should be addressed and served by conservatives and liberals, by all. As I have written, poverty is an indication of not fully implementing all of God’s Laws. Do not now waste your time on pettiness or issues that do not serve our most important needs of the time, choose the Greater Good.
Do not forget that Jesus united many faiths and/or religions in his region of the World under Christianity by accepting their faith while teaching His Ways and representing or speaking for God. His Ways and Teachings were very similar to prophets before Him in different regions of the World. He is the originator of our greatest universal church, the Catholic Church, and many theologies or churches of different regions of the World have accepted him as a prophet and include his teachings in their teachings. Even though Jesus was a Jew the Jewish faith remains largely intact accepting Jesus as a prophet and including His teachings. We should accept and fight for all faiths as much as we do the Jewish faith. Christians should be teaching the universal lessons of the World’s prophets and their faiths and not choking themselves on conversion and exclusivity to Heaven. There is, in my opinion, much work left to be done with the gift of Jesus and it should be so, but it is tangled in these perverse and singular ideologies. Christianity can have a Second Coming of Jesus, so to speak, by way of becoming more inclusive of and working with all faiths of the World as Jesus did in his region, not necessarily by the return of Jesus. The saviors of the World are us, Humanity, and it is the teachings of prophets of the World gifted by God that we must follow. Moreover, I don’t think Jesus would wish to return and be nailed to a cross again after all this time and not yet having a more secure and prosperous World. What would Jesus teach us this time?
Reasoning: Relating and Serving Humanity and God     November 11, 2020
Here is an overview of my perspective of the different ways we serve each other and God causing a disunion and interfering with sharing the bounties of life between good people and providing a sword for the ill willed. The ill willed tend to take our differences and turn them into war while claiming our good.
For a moment, this will take us to the subject of money and specifically taxes in America. The so called conservative right of religion believes in military but not social services like social security, food security, medicare/medicaid, etc. The liberal left do not believe in the use of military force to invoke change and do believe in and support social services like social security, food security, medicare/medicaid, etc.
Many conservatives would rather address the shortcomings of Humanity solely with chapter and verse of the Bible which is often taken out of context and definitely taken from a time passed. Conservatives seem to believe it is alright to collect money in donation and tithe to help one another but do not believe in social services like social security, food security, medicare/medicaid, etc. which serves a much broader population, everyone and anyone who needs it. It makes absolutely no sense at all to tithe 10%Â but refuse aid through government to those in need. Particularly a government based on rights of men given by God. The Bible alone will not further God’s Kingdom nor will the charity derived from it. God’s Kingdom must be implemented with the knowledge and acceptance of all good people on Earth who are in God’s image, reflections of God, and their gifts. To exclude people for religion, sex, origin, idea, etc. is to exclude more than a majority of God’s Human Creation.
Your conflict or crusade will continue forever because God is not going to change the Spirit(s) of Humanity. There will always be blacks, gays, and Muslims born in my opinion, and with differing views. We should help them all; together, through government. If you and our nation continue this way, you, like our nation, will be serving more people with less money. You are working your way out of society and the World and doing more harm than good. Tax exemptions were given because these organizations help people but they are old and abused; though I am not advocating their abolishment at this time. In fact, I am saying expand your services through government and stand with those who wish to serve people no matter their race, religion, sex, or origin like our Founding Fathers intended.
Conservatives seem also to believe in a strong military to maintain their constitution/beliefs. So do I, but it will not come without change on both sides of the differing/warring parties. I have stood with conservatives on this issue more than I would have liked to have to. Once again, acceptance and support of good people while eliminating threats to their lives and livelihoods is all that is necessary.
These differences, in honesty and good will, did, in my opinion, start long ago. In our history, we have recorded it as Humanism/Naturalism and Religion. I believe Humanism dominated first with Religion of sacrifices, rights of passage, repentance, etc. But it is the Religious Right that has taken up arms and fought for Humanity’s Freedoms by God long ago and they still do. They do so while the left paint, photograph, and write about the ills of Humanity. The Religious Right has in fact preserved the left, in my opinion. These things started long ago and the best example is the wars of the Middle East and the collection and discussion of ideas around the Mediterranean.
Moreover, in my opinion, the Religious Right should be recognized for and realize their own history of building of schools and teaching everyone about the World, about the Laws of God including sciences and the like. And they built grand beautiful churches as well also adorned with the beauty of art. We have somehow fought our way to freedom while gazing at and reading about it in the work of leftists liberals and their depictions of Heaven on Earth while they pick flowers from the field to bring home and study and teach the very life knowledge collected by Religious people of the past that include Theologies.
This I believe is a natural design of God’s Humanity. But the conservative must come to Spiritually accept the liberal and the liberal must come to Spiritually accept the conservative and they must decide on our future. It is now a time of great decision making, reckoning. The Far Right or White Supremacists or terrorists must not be allowed to interfere in a gathering and coming together of differing roles and approaches to life in a society as we must do so now, becoming more alike than not.
I have lumped all conservatives in one description and all liberals in another like is occasion to do so to speak in this overview though we all know this is not true. I consider myself a conservative liberal and I know of liberal conservatives. I stand with the military, policeman and intelligence but I work for the liberal and women and children. Let us not allow extremists to create swords with our words and use guns against our bodies and works.
I hope and believe America has chosen good people to serve them in government this election whether republican or liberal. I would vote for either as I have in the past. And let us protect our values and paths in a way that includes all good views on life and it’s return of love, beauty, and prosperity for all in the World.
As I have written I believe we are in what I call the Unspoken Holy World War where the United States of America has become the primary target once again since the attack on September 11. However, this time they have planned to control our government and society in an effort to destroy it from within. And my gravest concern that our military/security and intelligence agencies have been or will be compromised is occurring. But honestly, if my theory is correct, I hope they exhaust all avenues of doing so, so that we can get on with our lives. They have created a division from which there is little return which is normally how it goes when one goes against good and right.
